Manager
Ms. Moore holds an
impressive resume of professional health and fitness
certifications. She is a certified personal trainer, which
demonstrates expertise in “risk factor screening, fitness
assessment, nutrition, exercise science, exercise
programming with appropriate progressions, instructional and
spotting techniques, lifestyle modification coaching and
professional scope of practice,” according to the
requirements of the American Council on Exercise.
Additionally she
is a certified Group Exercise Instructor, which demonstrates
her understanding of anatomy, kinesiology, exercise
physiology and instructional techniques including class
design, cueing and injury prevention. She is also certified
in Cardio Kickboxing instruction, water aerobics and CRP/AED
and first aid.
Moore’s passion
for fitness began in high school where she ran cross county
for Hopewell Valley High School in New Jersey and held
Mercer County’s cross country and mile record. After
attending college and receiving an Associate’s Degree in
Special Education, Moore began teaching aerobics at the
Fitness Corner health club in Pennington, NJ, nearly 16
years ago. She relocated to Rock Hall, MD, in 2000. Since
then, she has taught a multitude of very popular fitness
classes for Kent County Parks and Recreation, Queen Anne’s
County Parks and Recreation, Kent Athletic and Wellness
Center and Washington College. In her spare time, Moore can
be found jogging the country roads in Kent County with her
husband, Steve, or running after their six children, who
range in age from two to 15.
Mark R. Pagano, M.S., CSCS
A dedicated
fitness professional, Mark has been athlete, coach and/or
instructor for most of his life. In October 2008, he will
return home to the east coast, and join the AquaFit Team as
Head Personal Trainer. Mark has been traveling, training,
learning and gaining experience around the country for the
past 8 years, living in Texas and then Alaska for most of
the time. Mark brings to us experience as a head trainer in
other clubs; educator at the University of Alaska; more than
10 years as martial arts instructor; and has visited such
places as Cooper Institute of Aerobic Research (CIAR).
Specialties
include: Back Strengthening, Functional Training, Core
stability & Strengthening, Flexibility & Range-Of-Motion,
Sport Specific Training, Movement Mechanics & Analysis,
Weight loss, Return to Activity.

Jacqueline von Voss, L.Ac.,
M.Ac., Dipl.Ac., RYT
Jacqui
Flisher von Voss is a nationally board certified
acupuncturist (NCCAOM), craniosacral therapist and
registered yoga instructor licensed to practice in Maryland
and Pennsylvania.
After receiving her B.A. degree in Eastern philosophy, Fine
Art, and western biosciences at Washington College in
Chestertown, Md., she went on to complete her Masters degree
in Traditional Chinese and Japanese Acupuncture from the New
England School of Acupuncture (NESA), the nation’s oldest
college of Oriental Medicine. Jacqui also completed
advanced training in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (CST)
through NESA, as well as CST, Somateo-Emotional Release
(SER), and Meridian Therapy through the Upledger Institute.
Her clinical experience includes private practice in
Cambridge Ma., Philadelphia Pa., as well as work in numerous
healthcare settings specializing in pain management, women’s
heath, and integrative medicine.
Jacqui is able to draw upon numerous disciplines to assist
her clients in their health goals and personal development.
She is especially interested in helping people to cultivate
a balanced body and mind as a means towards deeper
realization, peace and joy in their life.
Meghan E. Shand, LMT
Has
been licensed and practicing in Maryland for two years in
both a private and spa setting. Her specialties include:
Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Sports, and
Pregnancy Massage. If you would like to schedule a massage

Allison F. Harper, LMT, NASM CPT, certified run/walk coach
Having
been a runner most of her life, Allison has learned many
things about the art of running and movement. In 2005, she
completed her first endurance event with Team in Training
and has been hooked ever since. Now she thrives on bringing
that same joy to others by helping them train for endurance
events be it half marathon, marathon, triathlon, or just
walking to the mail box. Allison holds an Associates of
Applied Science degree in Massage therapy and is licensed in
the state of Maryland. She specializes in Swedish, Deep
Tissue, Trigger point therapy and myofascial stretching. She
is also part of the AMTA and the NCBTMB, nationally
recognized professional organizations for massage
therapists. She will continue her schooling, early spring
2010, through Salisbury University to earn a Bachelors of
Science degree in Exercise Science. Having an insatiable
desire for learning, Allison looks at every challenge as a
gift to learn something new.
